Water supply plan.
The current water plan is to use a 200 gal truck tank and the existing 30 gal RV tanks to shower and for general use. We’ll be using 5gal water bottles of bottled water for drinking and in cooked items.
We’ll be using 2 300 gallon tanks for garden water storage currently. Plan is to add 10-20 IBC totes over time to use as both water storage and for thermal mass in the winter. These totes will in the solar green house. Additionally excess water from trips to Great Falls will be added to these tanks, to help keep them full. This water will also be used with bio digester.
We will be using a composting toilet, so there is NO black water. While probably safe to add to grey water, Urine is pumped to a holding tank and then diluted and used on the small amount of grass we have.
The composting toilet output will either be combined with compost on site (if any is available after biogass generation) or taken to the landfill.
Grey water will be first sand/gravel filtered, then go through a particulate filter. Finally a UV light in the tanks will help kill off micro organisms. Water will be stored in a pair of 300 gallon tanks for the garden.
